Om (Kannada: ಓಂ) is an 1995 Indian Kannada language crime drama film directed by Upendra, starring Shivarajkumar, and notable for its exposure of Bengaluru's criminal underworld. The film was directed by Upendra and starred Shivarajkumar and Prema. Kannada matinee idol Rajkumar sung two of the film's songs, O Gulabiye and Hey Dinakara
Om was remade in Telugu as Omkaram (starring Dr.Rajshekar and Prema). Bollywood's 1998 blockbuster Satya shares many similarities with Om, including the fact that both deal with criminal underworlds and each protagonist's name is the same: Satya.
The film became a successful venture at box office. It remains a cult following among audience owing to its re-release every year and the film re-released more than 600 times.
